For sale is my G30 connect. I've had this for 6 years and have done 101 brews with it.
She's still going strong and reaching a proper boil the same as she ever has.
I do have the counterflow chiller, which is included. I haven't used the counterflow chiller for years
as I do no chill nowadays. It will probably need a good clean out with an appropriate chemical.
I have been using a false bottom (pictured) which catches most of the hop material, so never get any scorched on wort.
She's in generally very good condition as you can see from pics.
Collection only from West Lancs L39 8SY.
I do have all the original packaging if you want it, but i'm buggered if I can make it fit back into it.
Only asking £180 for all.

Eventually agreed to send via a courier after having no takers and they duly smashed it up in transit.
So not for sale anymore.

Have you made a claim?
I have chippy and I payed an extra tenner to have it fully insured.
It's like trying to get blood out of a stone, getting compensation from couriers. It used to be part of my job.
Sent all relevant before and after photos along with photos of the packaging (which was the original Grainfather stuff.
Waiting for a decision.
I'll post when I get the decision.

Where were you sending it to?
I fixed a G70 which had been dropped, if it is only the body you can get a replacement body, get the insurance money and sell cheap to someone who will bring it back to life.

Panel beater friend did a great job of refashioning the normally concave portion of my guten 70 lid to make it all convex, works much better with the condenser now.
The connect part has quite an aftermarket as a swap into robobrew 3 etc to give PID and app control.

It went somwhere in the south of England, like 180 miles from me. I'd have to arrange to get it collected and hope they did no more damage.
There were other issues. Apparently the malt pipe ball lock valve won't work and the pipework into the bottom plate is bent. Also the lid has been damaged. They did a thorough job on it.

If I had it here I would attempt repairs myself. Failing that I would sell the chiller and the connect box separately, maybe the pump as well, but it's a long way away from me. Hopefully I'll get paid on the insurance.

Hmm. If they broke it, don't they return to sender. That has been my experience?
Not sure. It took them 5 days to deliver on what should have been a nextday delivery. The whole experience has been a minor nightmare.
If I get my money back I'll just leave it and move on.

You had a contract they were supposed to deliver next day surely you are also due compensation for their failure to deliver on time.
I'm still waiting for a decision on the insurance claim. If it's not favourable I will go to the onbudsman,
All the courier companies have extensive t&Cs.
Below is just one paragraph from the courier I used.

DHL eCommerce Solutions will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide pick-up and delivery service
and arrange for air/surface transportation for the Shipments via the transportation services of DHL eCommerce
Solutions or others as DHL eCommerce Solutions may substitute or subcontract. Shipper agrees to all routing
and diversion, including the possibility that the Shipment may be carried via intermediate stopping places as
DHL eCommerce Solutions deems appropriate. DHL eCommerce Solutions will make every reasonable effort
to deliver the Shipment according to DHL eCommerce Solutions’ regular delivery ranges, but these are not
guaranteed. Shipper agrees that no time is fixed for the completion of transportation hereunder. DHL
eCommerce Solutions is not liable for any damages or loss caused by delays.

As I said though I will go tot the onbudsman if need be.

DHL - dropped it, had it, lost it we used to call them at work when they were our courier. Worst company ever.
