Not sure what old and new style tops are? You can buy adaptors for long neck glass and standard glass as well as 2 different types for PET bottles. It's been a while since I looked at it, but the one that I got from aliexpress fitted the glass bottles used for Guinness West indies porter. I can't remember which way around it was. I actually 3d printed out the other adaptors as I couldn't find them for sale anywhere.

Yes I have this and it's great. Use for crown and swing tops. Only issue was sorting out a stand for it. I use an old wooden wine crate.
