A new range of extract kits from Festival, inspired by Bombardier, Spitfire, Abbot and Wainwright's. I don't mind a pint of Wainwright's but find the other three pretty uninspiring to say the least, but I'm sure they'll appeal to some!

I've got the Wright's Golden Ale, will be sticking it on soon if time allows.

Hoping it will be good, most of the Festival kits are.

I brewed the Wrights Golden last year I tried it with a bottle of Wrights golden to compare…. The kit beer in my opinion was better than the original which had the aftertaste of Nail varnish/pear drop truly awful. They really are quite good kits as a primarily all grain brewer I am impressed.

i was just about to bottle the vienna red lager kit after 10 days.

i substured the yeast with kviek but its still a bit cloudy.

is it still ok to bottle this

its 1006 and tasted great

ty in advance

I'm currently about 1/3 through a keg of the Friars Ale. Supposed to be similar to Abbot Ale 🤣🤣🤣 It's a very drinkable beer but nothing Ike Abbot, it's more like an American IPA. There's none of the rich malt backbone and the hop flavours aren't right. Too much citrus as far as I can tell

Cheers Tom
