Hops pellet or flowers/cones

I have always used hop cones for my brews but I must say I did find I lost a bit of brewhouse eff using them. I then read so much about the advantages for using pellets I have decided to use what I have left of my cones and have bought in a load of pellets, the do take up a lot less space in the freezer and that is welcome.But are they really that much better than cones?
Anyway what are the preferances of the brewers on here pellets or cones?

I prefer pellets
easier to use easier to store less beer waste as cones soak up so much beer.
Cones have there place but only in traditional beers IMO

Cones for me, but I can't get cones for all the varieties I use.

I can’t remember the last time I used cones.

I think it’s only once since I got my current AIO machine 5 years ago, and they blocked the pump!

I use both but generally keep whole hops for the boil or hopstand as I find despite cold crashing they sit as an unsinkable raft after dry hopping.

If it were up to me, I'd use cones as they filter easier when pumping the wort out of the AIO. but they are such a pain to keep in the freezer that I use pellets

Cones all the way. Both bought in and homegrown.
Tried pellets once when I couldn't get the type as cones and they totally blocked up the filter. Made for a s*** brew day.

Mash: Cones.
Kettle : Cones and/or Pellets.
FV : Pellets.

Cones for me.
When I tried pellets they just ooze through my hop bags & sludge up everything.

I use pellets and just chuck em in the kettle or FV as necessary. I stopped using cones a few years back now.

Whatever I can get a good deal on. Although this is usually pellets, I have recently been using cones sourced from a local brewery.

For your brewhouse efficiency this should not make (much) difference. Since pellets are just compressed cones, expect them to absorb the same amount of liquid (which is really what influences your BE: all wort that is absorbed can not give its sugars to the fermentation).

For handling and storage, I definitely prefer pellets.
