Do you can your homebrew, or does it work with bottles?
no it does not fit bottles only cans sadly, bit of a faff i washed out a can and transferred to that as said allowed the sediment to remain in the bottle.

Came out smoother and the head on stout at lest was creamer and lasted longer.

In essence did what is says on the box tastes more like draught than a can or bottle does, would I use it with say a can of Guiness draft probably not, but my stout was slightly over carbonated could feel the bubble on the tongue when first poured from bottle via this was gone and tasted much better

I suspect that the effect you are seeing is from the beer being forced through a small orifice in the pump. This would probably have a similar effect to pushing the beer through a hand pump. I know some people use a large syringe for a similar effect.

You are probably correct was a punt on a toy that for stout i am happy to use although I have a turkey baster that i use to take abv semaples on wine and beer, so might try that see if gives same effect

Saw this product and thought YES thats just what i need,i like my beers as if they have been hand pulled through a sparkler but not a fan of fizzy or over carbonated ,wifey not to keen on angrams hand pull on kitchen worktop so have even gone down the forcing through syringe route before but its a faff. So after searching 7 different stores finally got one tonight. Stoked ,did exactly what I thought it would

I wondered. Do you think it could be modified to take something bigger than a can?

I was hoping to fit one of my smaller bottles into it ,, if not as the case was ,modify the set up to take any size by extending the feeder tube , but its an enclosed set up and only works when all components are all aligned but on delivery i was so eager to try it out i just decanter my bottle of beer into a slim jim glass and went for it, love the result3

Tried it without the base, doesn't work(back pressure?) apart from it only doing upto 500ml cans it's very good, id say it was on a par if not better than a guinness surger? Well worth the £25

yes i am impressed nice smooth pint and as much head as you choose its novelty yes but i can taste the difference so worth it for me, just wish they had made it bigger to take bottles

I am with @jof I would prefer to keep the £25
That's fair enough and if you would have quoted my full response then it would show that I said that I know a lot of us wouldn't bother with one (myself included) but as @old dog new tricks and @New To Brew Sort OF have proven it does have it's place. The comments that I was replying to were insinuating that the only people that would buy one must have more money than sense, I was simply pointing out that for £25 I wouldn't exactly put it into that category

Well i love it ,shame i could only get my hands on one ,as i wanted one for my dad. Thanks old dig new tricks for the heads up or would have missed it

Glad you are enjoying it for the price it was worth a go, I am not a huge beer drinker but as said I find t works well for homebrew stout to make it smoother and give the creamy head
