Hi everyone,

Now @Twostage is in the midst of judging a bumper dark beer month I thought I'd get the the thread started for the March competition.

The theme is "Freestyle" which means anything goes & I love judging this one as I always end up with some inspiration for brewing a new style.

I'll sort a prize out for the winner - probably a couple of beers from a local brewery - & everyone that enters will get BJCP-style feedback.

Drop me a PM for my address & good luck all!

Forgot to add, I'm probably looking at judging the weekend of the 5/6th April so anything reaching me before then is in!

Just sent 6 bottles!

I’d say that should guarantee a place in the top 3 🤣

All can be in the lively side, but a good chill seems to subdue them.

The brownside was only bottled last weekend, meaning it’ll be around 4 weeks in the bottle by your judging weekend. You can choose to omit it if you like and ‘enjoy’ at a later date 🤷

I like your strategy! I'll give you a shout when they arrive.
