Tonights session has been opened by JP's Jolly Roger
The first thing I (and the worktop) noticed was that it could have been over carbonated
I poured the beer carefully to another glass to knock some of the gas out of it and it was fine
A nice beer this, a pale amber colour, fresh and clean tasting with a definate orange aroma when drinking, nice mouthfeel and a good lingering dry finish. I'd be happy to sit and sink a few (too many) of these. :drink:
On a slight down side, I'm not sure if this bottle suffered something that one of the bottles I took to Vossy suffered but to a much smaller degree - there is a slight off flavour - one of blue cheese, my one in a porter was really bad this only has a hint it is there though, it's something that I've only ever had in bottled beer - what causes it :hmm:
In all honesty I enjoyed this beer but my preference was JP's Hop Monster that I wrote about a week or so ago, that was an awesome beer.
Thanks JP!
