I invested in a bench capper and am very pleased with it. The only bother is adjusting it for different height bottles, so I now separate my bottles by size and mark them with a spot of nail varnish.

Yep, so did I. It's such a step up. Likewise I sort before bottling or capping. I did spot there is a self adjusting capper for different heights but I thought the additional cost was a bit much. I'd probably go for it in hindsight.
 
The floor standing jobs, do corking, beer capping and champagne capping all in one.

Most on mine get whacked with a rubber mallet, cos it still the quickest way. 🙄
