I'm making a SMASH stove top 10 liters tomorrow.
I'm in a soft water area and plan to add 10-12 gm of DWB.
At what point should it be added?
Thanks folks
Taking into account your tap water profile and the buffering capacity of the grain to get the amount of DWB needed, if it works out at more than 75g/hl add two-thirds to the grist and one-third to the sparge water. DWB should not be added to the HLT as not all of the constituents are insoluble.
Always best to check data sheets if you are going to use anything.

Many thanks. I followed most of that apart from, the buffering capacity of the grain.
