Just finished a brew. This is my solution, underneath all the insulation is a Fermzilla with a heat belt around it. Find it works quite well, the temperature fluctuation is marginal.

Thank you for the response. I’d just like to add myself to the list of users having exactly this issue. I have tried the probe in various places and the temp reading spikes. I’ve even noticed it when the probe is just sitting on the table. I’m worried my fridge is going to get damaged. Thanks again.

Sorry to hear of your disappointment Dave! I would have said either the lines or the cask was tapped too soon and did not have chance to properly condition on the stillage. An indicator for this can be flat beer.

Hello! I left my FV in the fridge to cold crash, two days later it was a block of ice... it seems my under counter fridge has a faulty stat asad1. Do you think it is ruined? I plan on keging and carbonating anyway just to see what it’s like. Cheers🥶
