racked my coopers cerveza yesterday, will leave a week or so in secondary fv, would i benefit from passing it through a wine filter?... or would this take out all/ too much yeast for carbonation... cheers...

I wouldn't bother, never filtered any of my ales yet, they drop nice and clear :thumb:

beer rarely if ever, needs clearing. It will do it itself.

Time in the bucket.....time in the bottle....

TBH, with the residual CO2 that will be in the beer, it would be a right pain to filter anyway, as the filter will keep filling with gas and have to be purged.

If it's really cloudy, then maybe use beer finings, but time normally does it fine!

there seems to be a massive difference already between the cervez and the ozzy lager ( both coopers) that i did previously.... dunno if its to do with adding the golden syrup, this is definately more lagery, the ozzy one seemed between a lager and an ale.... still very tasty though...lol..
