youngs wine kits

hi folk,
hope you can help?
ive just bought a youngs wine kit from tesco,it cimes with 2 mini fvs,no demi?
am i better buying a kit online,they seem to come with a demi jon,the kit i have just purchased i tried it in an old(clean and sterile)demi,its bubbled through the air lock,so ive put it into my 25 ltr fv?have i killed it??????????
