Started on the 15/12 sg 1055,only dropped to 1030 after 2 weeks do i have a problem or will time take its toll(temperature has been a steady 18/19 for the crimbo period)
it should have dropped a lot more than that in 2 weeks :wha: infact i would have expected it to have finished by now, if i was you i would give it a good stir and see if that helps. If it dosnt i would either add some nutriants or try adding some more yeast as it sound to me that you have a stuck fement or you had a poor batch of yeast supplied in the kit.
I,ll give it a good thrashing in the morning and take a fresh reading,the brewing temp was a bit low for the first week as no one in,so heating of all day.
