Well, I'm in Sheffield, and they have good transport links to nearby places - so being slack, that sounds good to me. There's this festival in October - http://www.sheffieldcamra.co.uk/beerfestival.htm - seems a bit far away; the Devonshire Cat has tons of proper ales, mostly imports though, http://www.devonshirecat.co.uk/.

An idea for the Meeting.....My Local Brewery http://www.oldmillbrewery.f9.co.uk/ has open evenings on a Monthly basis. Consisting of a Tour around the Brewery followed by a few pints in the hospitality Bar inside the brewery. Then a short walk over to the Brewers Arms Pub where you have another Pint along with a Snack consisting of Pork Sandwiches and Chips. There is a charge of £12.50 per person. (I managed 3 Pints in the Brewery)..so got my money's worth :lol: :lol:

The Tours are run on a Thursday meeting at 7.30pm in the Brewers Arms, Snaith. The pub offers excellent B & B as well for those who wish to come to this side of the Pennines :lol: :lol:
