Yeast slowed down by cold temperatures?

I've been fermenting a brew since 2nd December and of course it's been pretty cold most of the time since. The room temperature has probably moved between 15C and 20C depending on the time of day, or it might have been even lower at night. I normally brew on a Sunday with the hope of bottling 2 weeks later and usually take a gravity reading on the second Thursday/Friday to check fermentation progress. If it's still the same 3 days later (ie after 14 days in total) I bottle.
This is the first time I've used Safale S-04 yeast which says it has a temperature range of 15-24C on the packet. The gravity has dropped from 1.040 to 1.012 over the 11 days which doesn't seem too bad. The temperature has warmed up since then so do you think I might see some further significant fall in gravity over that period?
 
If you get consistent SG readings over 2 or 3 days then id bottle it. Most of mine only go down to 1.012
 
Thanks, I'll do that. I'm only on my 5th brew and the other four finished between 1.006 and 1.010. I ksort of set that as my expectation and thought that maybe the temperature had something to do with it. Do you think the lack of steady temperature will impact the taste much? I know people say to keep it as steady as possible.
 
The important thing is to try and keep the temp as steady as possible. I'm struggling with this at the moment due to my broken central heating! I have my fv wrapped in a duvet and that seems to keep the temp fairly stable. Many on here will tell you that the best way to improve your brew is to make sure that fermenting temps are good (between 18 and 21C) and that they are consistant.

the lower the temp, the longer fermentation will take. I'm having to leave my bottles in the house for 3 weeks to carbonate instead of the 2 it was taking in the autumn. I think having lower temps is better than it being too hot. Yeast start producing some off flavours when it's too warm.

any higher than 1.012 and i'd be worried that i had a stuck fermentation and would try to bring it lower but i've been ok bottling at 1.012 so far.
