Any recommendations for this.

So far, for other brews I've used :

Wyeast 1469 & 1968

and have single malt & single hop brews fermenting with safale05.

I'd like to use something different, plus expand my yeast 'library' .

?? Nottingham

What would you guys recommend. ?

Thanks RD

Give brewlabs a ring, they produce specific cultures to order, they may even have the exact yeast.

Thanks Dennis,

Haven't had time to phone them but went on their website and their data sheet is pretty informative.

They've got two midlands yeasts , one Burton which I presume Sara Hughes isn't and the other :

2540 East Midlands 1- Single character. Mild and dark bitters of low to medium gravity. Medium to high mineral worts preferred. Good flocculation.

Seems to fit the bill.

Sara Hughes website was worth a look.

Cheers

OK Oz ,

I'll do that,

Hoping to brew next weekend so I may order the above yeast just in case.

This brewing is a continuing learning (drinking) process.

Thanks

Cheers
