WYeast 1469 got mine ordered today, it was a right place right time thingy...been waiting for this yeast for ages and apparently they only release it for a few months each year, so I got me some.. =D>

woah, £6.29 I think mine was order 2 lots and some other bits shipping very resaonable

Will be feeding this to some 1469 soon.

Known here in Australia simply as Dark Ale from the White Rabbit Brewery. It is open fermented in yorkshire squares (kind of).

That's a large recipe, is there one I could use that makes a smaller batch with a few less grains or perhaps a partial/extract brew?

You can modify the recipe to suit you by - in this case - divide quantities (Grain & Hops) by 47 then multiply by 23L (if going for a 5Gallon Batch)

I have read before that its not that simple to scale down a recipe. Something to do with hop extraction in volume of liquid IIRC.

Do you have any brewing software? You can use that to scale.
 
WY1469 is supposedly the Timothy Taylor yeast; Brewlab have this in their yeast bank, so you can order it any time
