We have regulated press - we have laws that prohibit distribution of some information
And you jump on ladder of inference - I never said: “There’s corruption in Ukraine therefore it belongs to Putin/excuses Putin's corruption.” You are being misled into thinking that there is either one way or another - there are lots of ways out of this situation
My point is that we are far from perfect and we personally should avoid being used by other groups to pursue their interests. Moreover, we should not allow others gambling with our lives
“People have always been and always will be foolish victims of deception and self-deception in politics until they learn to seek out the interests of one or another class behind any moral, religious, political, social phrases, declarations, promises.” — Lenin, Three Sources and Three Components of Marxism
Ok, then what was your point?

Ukraine contains corruption, therefore…?

Good luck with that.

"Russia's RS-28 Sarmat "Satan-2" missile, with 10 heavy reentry vehicles, each with enough payload to wipe out an area the size of Texas or France. It also features hypersonic glide vehicles to make it less detectable by U.S. or space-based sensor systems and could be immune to American missile defense systems.
Sarmat is capable of carrying 10 tonnes of payload,[39] of ten 750 kiloton,[40] 15 or 16 lighter MIRV warheads,[41] and 3 Avangardhypersonic glide vehicles (HGVs)[42] or a combination of warheads and several countermeasures against anti-ballistic missile systems.[43] The Russian Ministry of Defense said that the missile is Russia's response to the U.S. Prompt Global Strikesystem.[22]"

God, give me strength to change what I can change, humility to accept what I cannot change and wisdom to know the difference

I agree there should always be negotiation, but I don’t get why corruption has any bearing on it.

You’ve already stated there’s corruption in the UK, so should we be negotiating Russia having a military presence on the Isle of Wight?
It would probably be different from the Yanks in the UK during WWII

Underpaid, undersexed and under water.
