ononononoonononnoonono :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono: if you cask an ale it has to be drunk by the cask not transfered over to bottle

I'd like to see this as well, also have an old cask - at some point I want to use it ( and serve from it before I get told off too... :D )

Can we have a youtube vid like your one of you opening a bottle

I've spent countless hours and money in pubs  ,but never been in a pub cellar and cellar work is a complete mystery to me.

If you're friendly with a local landlord, ask him to show you the cellar when he's got a spare moment (that will give him time to clean it a bit!). When I was running my pub, used to show anyone who was interested in the workings of the cellar around mine, made a few of them appreciate why there was an art to keeping a constant supply of real ale ready.
