Quick question regards boiling.

Started all grain and during me first batch (10l) I noticed that during the 60 min boil I was only reaching around 99.5c. Not sure if it is my digital thermometer or my hob (I will test both and/or invest in new ones).
The actual question being if I don’t hit 100c and am slightly off will this result in an undrinkable debacle?????

Ta in advance....

Be grand soldier on

it will be fine. however best measure is actually can you see a rolling boil. It doesn;t have to be violent as long as its boiling away

Water boils at 100c at sea level - If you live at an altitude then it boils at a lower temperature. In that scenario and you want to hit 100 put a lid on and add a bit of weight

Thanks all...

Yeah pot’s circumference is greater than the hob.....

I won’t worry then....

May stick the lid on but have read about the fearful DMS......

I’ll continue as I am for now then and chew your ears off ext brew...
