Hi,
I was thinking of buying myself a wort chiller but by now I'm begining to muster the confidence to make my own. When making the right angle turns at the top and at the bottom of the chiller have people managed to do this without using a pipe bending spring - and if so,how?
Another issue is the connecting to hose - I've found one description using a very short length of syphon tubing to connect copper to 0.5 inch hosepipe then jubilee clip (?) - what size syphon tubing would this be?
Many thanks,
Cwrw

With the 8mm copper just take your time and work a few inches at a time.
I used 8mm to 15mm connectors then jubilee clipped the hose

Whatever size of syphon tubing it takes to stepup the copper to hosepipe?

I think the normal 10mm stuff will do it.

I forgot to say that I'm going to be using a 10mx10mm copper pipe - will this be more difficult, whilst also baring in mind my original question :?: :wha:
