I just got one of these on eBay for £21.95 all in, am I right in thinking that's a good price since its including shipping

Dunelm are selling them for £13.99 at the moment (but once they are gone they are gone!) and wilkinsons has them for £18. Going to be trying this kit out for the 1st time myself next week. Lots of folks here seem to recomend it.

I don't have any of those shops near me I'm afraid, I've never actually seen a kit in any if my local supermarkets I need to order everything online, I should open a hbs in the town, I bet it would do good buisness lol

Good idea... but could you resist and not drink everything???? id be crap at it... all my stock would be used. The shop would just be a big store cupboard for my own private stash lol

my lhbs sells them for £22.... I thought that was reasonable until I went All Grain...

but it seems to be going rate for a kit beer.

I've now done 2 AG wherry's both have been excellent at well below half the price.
Its now on my list of house brews to do often...nice beer.

I would need some sort of self control training first but I think I could manage it, think of all the room you'd have for fvs bubbling away and merchants prices for your own gear :-D

Kits are dear and probably not as good quality as ag brews but I think the thought if ag is quite daunting I'm gonna start with an extract brew next week and see how I get in as its my first
