Hi all,

A quick question about my sundew, im away for two weeks next Wednesday and I was going to leave my sundew in the primary ferment for the time I was away.

I started to ferment it on 21/12 16, will this cause my beer any problems as I am busy at work really to secondary ferment it in a further bucket whilst I was away.

Please any answers or suggestions would be greatly appreciated and also anyone who has drank the sundew please feel free to give any advice on how long to leave it before drinking, it will be bottled not kegged, in glass bottles.

Thanks and

Happy New Drinking Year to you all.

Tt will be fine in the fermenter , better if you can pour into a secondary, but it will be ok in the fermenter , give it two weeks in a secondary to clear , then 2 two weeks carbonating in the warmth after bottling. then ten weeks in shed ,garage etc conditioning it should then be spot on.

Should be OK to do what you suggest.
However if its ready to bottle why not just go ahead and do it. It will have had the best part of 12 days in primary on Tuesday, which is usually enough for this gravity of beer with an allowance for cleaning up. The two weeks while you are away will cover the carbing period.
Whatever you decide to do look here for what people say about this kit.
