WLP644 advice

Brewed this SMaSH on the 11th of February:

6kg Maris Otter

60 min mash at 68c

15g Ekuanot at 60 mins
85g Ekuanot at 5mins

Pitched WLP644 (24 hour starter on a stirplate) at 18-20c (in my kitchen)

OG 1.063

100g dry hop after 5 days.


Ok, so fermentation took off like a rocket and I had krausen after about 24 hours with absolutely no airlock activity. I checked last Wednesday and the gravity had dropped to 10.043. All fine I thought. I checked again on Monday and it was at 1.042.

As I understand WLP644 can take a while. I just wanted some reassurance that this was the case or have I messed something up?
