Hi @Cisk, I was thinking about that, myself, and I have to confess that I'm not even sure I like Christmas beers. Back in the dark ages when beer was awful, something a bit tastier and stronger was most welcome, but now it can sometimes be a struggle to find something sessionable! I certainly don't like beer with spices added. I shall have to think about this most carefully as it would be nice to have something special for winter.

Hi Clarence and Agentgonzo thanks for your replys , Christmas beer ideas looks a good read ,Many years ago mid 1970 s when the pubs in the uk had small barrels of winter warmer on the bars i started making my first beer kits i made Johnbull kit with alot of dark brown soft sugar it was as good as the pub one , thats what i am looking to make no spice just a dark rich taste
