wine storage in demijohns

Just a short question, I have completed two or three batches of wine in demijohns and i am storing them in the garage, due to the cold snap i thought i would check the temperature of the wine it is 8 Degs C is that too cold to store my wine before transferring to the loft which I think is a bit warmer

I like 10 -15 degrees C, 8 degrees shouldy be ok, I think colder is better than hotter but the main thing is to keep away from light and fluctuating temps and humidity.

Thanks mate, I usually store it in the garage for about two weeks to let it settle after fermentation has completed then if its to be stored for 6 months or so i transfer it to my loft out of the way

My last red wine brew I accidentally 'chilled' two DJs to, erm, -20c for two days in a freezer. They froze solid. Turned out really nice though :)
