Hi all

Just put some wine shrink capsuales on my bottles by using steam from kettle, and although it worked well to a point they are not perfect....is there an easier way of doing this?? and also does the steam thats heating it not ruin the wine inside the bottle when its heating??

Thanks

chris

i only do it if its a bottle to give away!! but i used a kettle, mine worked a treat, absolutely perfect, i'd say its fine for the wine inside (i'm no expert)

aNY THAT I STORE IN THE ATTIC OR SHED GET THESE ON.

sorry for caps;

basically i just get a pan of boiling water gently simmering, place the cap on the bottle, and invert (turn upside down) holding th cap in place with my finger, then slowly dip into the water, the moment it hits the water it shrinks and holds it self on the bottle, i remove my finger (obviously) and just submerge the rest of the cap under the water, whole thing takes about3 seconds to do!!! and does it perfectly, and evenly.
