So yesterday I topped up my DJ as the kits instructions said. Had to geuss where 4.5L was, but thought I left plenty of room. Woke up this morning and the tops blown off the airlock. Its bubbling like crazy! more than once a second. I thought it was supposed to die down after the first few days.

Anyway, I put the top back on the airlock but its only a matter of time until it blows again.

Geussing I have to syphon a little out, or do I wait for it to die down and keep checking on it?
 
Just wait until it dies down. How many days into the ferment was it? I leave topping up to day4 for ciders, sometimes quite a bit longer for wines.
