Anyone brewed this kit? Just picked it up with sine spraymalt was going to sub the yeast for m54 but the yeast supplied says lager yeast on it so not sure weather to use it or sub it

If you can ferment cold (or under pressure) then Id certainly swap out the yeast for a proper lager yeast. If it is a room temp brew it will almost def be some sort of ale yeast. That said my first couple of wilko lagers were OK.

What did you do in the end? What is your fermentation set up like?

I just had a very well insulated box and it's in a shed but managed to maintain 18c I just used the yeast that came with it as I wasn't sure if I would manage the temp for the mj california lager yeast inhave it's currently been in the fridge for 2 weeks not tried it yet may crack one open tomorrow

Nice - sure it will be a good one! I have been impressed with every kit I brewed, especially the wilko ones.

I did the Artisan Canadian Ale last year, don't get me wrong it was drinkable but could only be used for pimping.

It was just boring and not even a session drink. Will have to let us know how it turns out, I might be tempted to chuck a dry hop in for the last few days 🤷‍♂️
