how far away is your brew shed?
most wifi will reach an average size garden

search on ebay for homeplug they work but arent that fast in my experience

i use a bt business hub BT2700HGV

pick them up off ebay with the right firmware found here

http://bt2700hgv.tripod.com/ir1002700HGV.htm

you can boost the signal strength

i have an old one so use the firmware SBC v4.25 firmware
which is from America and has higher settings for wifi

hope it helps in the quest for connectivity

TRY THIS!

around the router make a kind of satellite dish from tin foil and point the dish in the direction your wanting it to reach further can work by 50%

there are loads of examples on google / youtube.

sounds silly but 90% of the time it works every time lol

With the right kit I have heard good results from the pringles antenna or cantenna as it is known.
When I needed internet down my shed and the wifi was poor I simply bought cabling. On amazon it is so cheap that I would consider 2 x 30 Metres with a joiner in the middle. No fussing with wireless and its more secure. Total cost for 2 x 30m + joiner = £9.44

Like quite a few things lately the Chinese ones are leading the way as they have cheap manufacturing costs and usually ignore the patents the stifle innovation.

For example Chinese £10 torches are brighter than the £250 one you can buy in the UK and hold a charge longer.

Another vote for tin foil :thumb:

Take a sheet folded a couple of times then place behind the router to bounce the wifi to the shed, saw it on Brainiac, I do science me
