Interesting listen

Definitely watched Tescos expand their shelf area for ready to drink cocktails over the last few years. A lot of these are a lot nicer than the MD2020 and Boone's Farm alcopops of my teenage years.
Suppose one thing they don't (can't?) address is the rise of Cannabis sodas/seltzers in the US!

Haven't really seen any homebrew 'malt beverage' kits before, is that a thing? I suppose easy enough to make if it's just alcoholic sugar? Not sure I'd want to , hahaha.....

i dont know why we like canned cocktails but we elected an orange cockwobble so fool me once kind of thing.

seriously tho, i remember wine coolers in the 80's. thats what we gave the girls to get them drunk cause they wouldnt drink beer . those were so sweet you coudlnt taste the alcohol. they were malt based not wine based i think cause of liquor laws or something. and tasted like it. remember zima clear unflavored malt beverage that was horrible.

i dont understand the alcoholic seltzers they taste like vodka and flavored seltzer which tastes just like vodka and flavored seltzer - yuck.

some of the craft cocktails are a little better since they are made with real spirits.

this stuff is delish

most are just syrupy sweet ways to get intoxicated.

i like how they sell non alcoholic alcoholic seltzers. - isnt that just seltzer.

Wine coolers were vile things, but they were easy enough to drink as a teenager 🤣

Have tried alcoholic seltzers and I see no point! I mean, I guess if I were lounging around a hot pool in the tropics, and not wanting to be totally pished, that would be good. But I'm in the Scottish Highlands where it has been known to snow in June, so yeah, not really a quencher needed!

That said, I do enjoy hop water. (AF I realise! But tasty) Wish that was easier to find here.
