Just watching Who's the Boss on BBC 2. Three people being interviewed for an area managers job at Brew Dog. One of the applicants wasn't able to tell the difference between a Milk Stout and an IPA.

She won't be getting the job..

I didn't think James came across that well actually. Loved the idea of getting the workforce involved but when he didn't like the way things were going just pulled the plug.
If he didn't like the candidates they shouldn't of been there in the first place.

Shorditch is emplty cuz they've all moved to Peckham. We've just had a hipster pub open on the main drag through the hamlet called, and get this, John the Unicorn - seriously!

I do find it funny that the Brewdog ethos disparages bland corporate conformity, but encourages it's own conformity based on age, beard growth tattoos and Company Mantras.

Under the image, I thought the Brewdog factory seemed like most other Companies I get to visit, with it's own share of personalities and a definite hierarchical structure (not very Punk to hide the MD or 'Captain' away in his own Power Office)...

I like brewdog but like many others, find the clientele and the staff cringe worthy.

Man buns, beards, tattoos, plunging v neck tops - on blokes.

They all look man's man manly, what with the beard and perfectly honed bodies with great skin.

No one could wire a plug or change a car tyre.

Aye imagine Captain James or whatever he's called with a Cooper's plunger in his hand trying to get shot of the half a bogroll that the kids have chucked down the khazi! I bet the big ponce hasn't even got a lawnmower... I have... and its petrol... and I cleaned the carburetor on it on Sunday.

It had nothing to do with brewing, but it was good in a cringey kind of way. It was like watching The Office at times.

Well yes, it is just fashion, but Brewdog make a very big deal about all the rest of it (the fashion etc). I doubt it really bothers anyone here that much, to be honest.

I've got nothing against Brewdog, really. I do think they are so painfully hipster, but I'm really not that arsed about that... whatever you're into, thats fine by me. I think they've generally been good for the "craft beer" scene in the UK, which I'm obviously supportive of. If I'm honest, I dislike more of their beers than I like, but that is totally down to personal taste and not the quality of the product.

What I dislike is the price. Especially the food. Tesco chips in a basket for 3 quid. But fair play to em.

I know it's fashion. Just one that makes me cringe is all. Especially 'that' hair cut.
