Okay then I sprinkled around 5g of Saaz Hops on my mexican cerveza last night right on top of the yeast, which i now realise was a mistake.

It looks to be fermenting well enough this morning but need to know am I screwed??

Hi , a few tips for you . best to dry hop until around day 3 of fermenting , pop the hops in a muslin bag (boiled first ) and pop a sppon in hop bag too to help it sink etc and 5g is not really enough , you might want around 20 to 30 g depending on AA% , good luck with your brew .

I've just bottled my coopers Mexican that I dry hopped with 20g of saaz,I'll let you know how it turns out :)

Cool - please do. I actually did a Saaz tea with 30g in a couple of litres of water for 10 mins as well as the hops so should get plenty of hoppiness. Also the fermentation head has really taken off now so should be fine i think (i hope)

I think I will use a bit more than 20g next time I dry hop, prob making a hop tea with the saaz first would benifit
