Who to purchase from?

Hello all.

My first question to the forum. Myself and some friends are chipping in together for a grainfather setup. It is a fair sized order at £1500. From what I can tell Google throws 3 - 4 good online retailers.

Anyone know who is good, or which to avoid. More from a prospective of service than cost.

Ive heard malt miller is the go to for grainfathers and alike. They sound like they take a lot of pride into the equipment side of things

Wow there are a couple there i did not even know about. Cheers for the info.
I looks like most of them have similar prices. I was on Malt Miller the other day, and the website gave me a 5% discount code for signing up to a news letter.
5% of £1500 is £75. Not bad!!!!

Given this is mostly equipment... I was hoping if anyone had knowledge of after sales support. If something was to break, are they easy to deal with.
Order going in soon. Might have this sorted by the end of the week. :-)

You get a 3 year warranty on the Grainfather, on the odd occasions something goes wrong its good to have someone that you can rely on to get it resolved quickly. Most parts are replaceable and some stockists will carry all the parts so that you can expect a quick resolution to any problems.

I have the coat at home as I used to have to brew outside, its not really that essential inside if you wanted to save a few quid. I would recommend having a hop spider though which is in that start set, and you might want to think about how you're going to chill that fermenter as it will need a glycol chiller or a pump kit.
