Two things!

First, can you please make your own personal recommendations and impart good experiences with WL strains for the following:

Milds
Bitters
Ales
Stouts

And...also...let me know if the following would be good:

WLP013 London Ale - bitters and 'real ale' (Tom Caxton kit is most likely)

WLP023 Burton Ale - Stout kits
WLP004 Irish Ale - Stout kits

I am particularly keen to compare the two above for stouts - has anyone tried both of these for stout?

OH! and finally - is WLP001 good for generally getting good performance out of bitter and ale kits that use hop sachets? It appears to be the only one that is described as accentuating hop flavours strongly. Any other WL yeasts that do this as a general purpose yeast?

Thanks in advance for any comments!

I've used WLP002, WLP005, WLP007, WLP008 (yes, really), WLP013 and WLP023 in bitters and golden ales up to 5.7%. Liked them all, although WLP008 wasn't the right profile for an English beer.

I've used WLP013 in a dark ale. That worked okay.

I made a US-style beer using WLP060...that needs a rethink.
