Hi Folks

I am keen to start extract brewing, I saw the White House honey ale and was intrigued.

The question I had was:

If I cant find windsor dry ale yeast, what would be a good substitute?

As well as any pointers to steer me in the right direction of not making a fluff of this.

Cheers

I recently made a White House honey porter and used Nottingham yeast. It's still early but tasted after a month in bottles and it is probably my best brew so far.

Thanks folk, I am really tempted to try the honey ale out, I even went out and bought a large pot today.

I am a little unsure of how to proceed.

Do I buy the kit for the white house honey ale from BrewUK which is already all put together? or do I actually source my own ingredients?

The good things about sourcing my own ingredients is that 1. I can stay true to the recipe, 2. I will have a bit of ingredients left over to experiment with.
