Does anyone know where I can get a sample of Whitbread Lager yeast?
It doesn't seem to be commercially available anymore, but someone somewhere must have kept it alive.
I have a great recipe that just doesn't work as well with other lager yeasts and I'm tired of trying them out.
I see that Interbrew bought Whitbread in 2000...then Interbrew got gobbled up by Anheuser Busch. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't help me.

Unless you know the strain id or know somebody who works for inbev, then I would say you are on a hiding to nothing, inbevs products will definitely have no live yeast in them as they are cold filtered and pasturised to death.
