Assuming the bottles are clean, and that the bottle rinser is made of plastic with no brass parts, then take your pick.

Personally I'd use an iodophor or peracetic in a no-rinse dilution.

I should have mentioned - the kit i bought comes with Youngs sterilizer - is this suitable?

Hmm. I'd prefer a long contact time with the Young's stuff, whereas that bit of kit looks like it's more suited to a squirt and drain.

ok right you have confirmed what I was thinking - the sanitizer is coming with the main beer kit and the bottle rinser I bought on it's own.
I can use the youngs stuff for the FV and soaking my other bits and bobs - then I'll just buy another sanitizer to use with the rinser.

I'd go with Star San . . . or probably saniclean for low foaming . . . from the Homebrew shop.

Iodophors are good (Like Videne . . .or Peracetic if you can get it . .. Worcester Hop Shop I think sells it in sensible volumes.

Avoid chlorine based ones like Youngs / Bruclean / VWP / Bleach
