I am looking for a pump to use for CIP and then later to transfer hot wort.

The pumps I am looking at are the Chugger or March May. Any advice?

The specs are very similar on them, the March May is £210 and the chugger is £175.

The chugger has a stainless pump head and the MM has a Polysulfon pump head.

TIA

I appreciate this isn't quite what you're asking (I've no experience of those pumps specifically), but if you're in that price range I can thoroughly recommend the Blichmann Riptide pump. I've had one for a while and it's solidly built and the fact you can easily strip down and reassemble the head for cleaning after a brew day makes it a winner for me.

Sorry if that's just adding more confusion to the mix... :D

Thanks for the reply. Weird, I was looking at the riptide originally and was told they are hard to get hold of so was recommended a march may. Did some research and lots of folk say just stick with the riptide. Anyway, looked on BUK and they have stock arriving soon and have price matched MM (in rewards but thats fine). Ordered one on Tuesday. Hope it turns up soon
