which demi john ?

Hello , having recently purchased 5 demi johns off e-bay, 2 of them were clear and 3 of them brown, does the same apply to them as in brewing wine from kits, white wine clear, demi john, red wine, dark demi john, or does it not matter ?

brown will stop red wine losing its colour - which also applies to white wine, cider, and anything else you put in there. but mostly, red wine.
