So. Ive had a busy evening.
My Wherry had finished after 7 days in the FV. Came out at a fg of 1.010 after an sg of 1.042. Thats now in the PB with 85g of sugar for secondary ferm and conditioning after. The PB seems to be gas tight so far after loosening the lid slightly after a couple of hours and hearing gas escape. I also filled 4 500ml swingtop bottles from the PB using my new bottling wand. Hopefully they dont go bang lol.
After cleaning the FV etc. I decided to put my next brew on. This time Woodfordes Nog, to give it longer in the FV and longer to condition while i polish off the wherry. Which admittedly i rushed before you tell me off haha.
The Nog when mixed up came out with a sg of 1.042 mixed up slightly short at 22ltrs. I ditched the kit yeast and rehydrated a pack of safale s-04.
Arrived in the post today was a corny keg lid with a s30 valve and a quick disconnect tap. Now just waiting for the actual keg to arrive
