Landlord.
Well, I pushed the credit card boat out and bought myself a pair of cornies off eBay, now I've got them I see why the seller said they may need a new seal kit, or similar...
One of the two kegs has the type of lid with the retaining straps spot welded onto it, one of the spot welds has sprung loose, so the lid wont seal
Looking on the internet I can only see the other type of lid, with sold metal uprights far more securely welded to the lid, availble from the US, with £26+ for postage. The one UK vendor advertising what I believe is the better lid does not appear to have any in stock.
I checked CanDirect, after finding them on here via search, and the lids they are advertising does not appear to have a pressure release valve
So, oh reverred corny users, where do I get a 'good' replacement lid from?
I don't have access to the kit to redo the spot weld, so that's a non-starter
