where can I a a big stock pot/brew pan on the shops without having to wait for ebay

cheers me dears

No where matey... As we are noy yanks and dont fry whole turkeys we have little need for such massive pots... I must have marched 12 miles before i gave up.

I found a 13l SS pot in a fancy cookware shot for £119.00 - so just remember, watch big brother has talent on the tube and conform!

I went all grain for this reason. I use an old Burco water boiler as my "big pan"...

I got one of the 33L stockpots from Bergland via ebay a few weeks ago. Ordered on Thursday and it arrived from Germany on Monday so certainly not a long wait for it to get here. Just like Fizz Head I'd done my share of walking the shopping streets before I decided that only specialists sold proper sized pots.

you may be lucky on gumtree, I've seen a couple of big aluminium pans going on there, and also a few electric boilers

+1 for Malt Miller

order before 1400hrs and its delivered in 2 days.

As said unfortunately in this country you are struggling to get anything over 14-15 litres off the shelf locally, ordering is about your only choice.

Wing Yip sell large aluminium stock pots but they are expensive probably twice what you would pay for a stainless steel one from Malt Miller. :thumb:
