just wondering what others are up to this festive season


im going to the granite city for Christmas with the outlaws.... so Friday for me will be spent driving form Manchester to Aberdeen with 3 kids and the wife, with a roof box and presents

anyone else off on a trek or are you all staying home near your beer?

Heading down to my parentals in Bradford-on-Avon this friday from leeds, picking up her grandmother from Sheffield and dropping both of them off in Chippenham before the final stretch to B-o-A.

Leicester to my family on the Wirral on friday, down to the outlaws in Bristol on Boxing day
Not looking forward to the friday after school drive (yes Leicestershire schools haven't finished yet) but it could be worse...could be going all the way to Aberdeen

Outlaws arriving Friday, staying until at least 27th. That's fine by me, I get on well with them.

Also got my Mother for Christmas and Boxing days, but I'm hoping that this year I can get squiffy and send our Son to drive her home in the evenings, he still doesn't really drink at home although he has been getting plenty of practice while away at Uni.

Were off up st Helend to the inlaws on xmas day then its back down here on boxing day for me as im working on the night swmbo staying up there for another couple of days

We've got the in laws coming over for XMAS day, then we are off up to my parents in Norfolk a few days later.

Thats enough for me, I'm not very social when it comes to family things.

Spennymoor to the in-laws, and hopefully Ferryhill Station (The Surtees Arms) and The Ship Inn at Middlestone, to have a few decent pints. Not doing Boxing Day in Bishop Auckland this year, as the wife is pregnant, and it won't be much fun for her..

Off over to lancasrer to my brothers for Christmas Eve + Day. Then up to Richmond North Yorks to the in laws and then back to sunny Leeds by Tuesday. taking a fine selection of homebrew and commercial beers with me.
