When do I add syrups to a brew?

Well. Silly question time again..

I'm starting a Coopers Weis beer kit tonight as a 'quickie' to get some beer into one of my kegs.

I've decided I'm going to add Lowicz Raspberry syrup as a flavouring.

Do I chuck this in just before I add the yeast or do I wait and add it on kegging...


Are there pros and cons to both approaches?

I would add it to the FV as I think it contains sugar so needs to ferment out IMO

As above, u want the sugars to ferment.. Just treat it as LME,,warm the tin up in hot water and pour it in with LME

If it's thick, be careful as it might sink to the bottom lol. Had this problem myself.
