Can't fault 'em. Had a batch where the grain bag was split in transit and they quickly responded and dispatched a replacement. Good prices and quick delivery, so good for getting yeast without it deteriorating en route. From my experience I've got nothing but praise for them.

Out of interest guys,I buy a lot of stuff from The Home Brew shop online but hardly ever hear of anyone mentioning them,do you guys feel they are too expensive or have I just missed all the posts about them
Cheers

I've found Shane @ HBC to be most helpful, quick replies to email queries even at the weekend, get a message with delivery slot and always bang on.

I just think it's such a competitive market that you need to be at the top of your game and/or offer something special to attract attention. I've looked at Home Brew Shop online but TBH find their website slow and a pain to navigate, too many layers to get down to what you want, have had a quick look and moved on.

I've recently started using HBC and am really happy with my purchases. Don't think you can beat their full extract kits for 18 quid (sometimes 14.40 on offer). Delivery is a predicatble 2 working days. Also use BrewUK for their extract kits.

I agree with this, in recent times the home brew shop online site has improved but before it was difficult and the search function was poor because it didn't return things it should return.. Not to mention I found them a little expensive.

Yeah,I agree their website is quite crap, they changed it around six months ago and it actually got worse !
Guess it's things like that put people off, and price of course.
