Fairly new to all this and brewed a clone of Theakstons Olde Peculier a few weeks ago, using DME. Bottled it and left for 3/4 weeks when I had my first taste and all was very promising.
Have tried a couple more bottles this week (8 weeks after bottling) and it seems to have developed a very "off taste". Looks and smells fine, but tastes quite chemical and very yeasty. I did pour carefully and left the small amount of sediment in the bottle
Any idea what is the cause of this?
