Yes, Pale Malts and Speciality grains (crushed not whole), I myself have brewed with 2yr old crushed Maris Otter and found no difference in the gravity of the wort. Any advance on 1yr :D
 
Yes, I would say about a year and resultant brew was OK :thumb:

Crystal malt from Sept 2010,

and a bag of black malt thats certainly a lot older older :whistle:
 
NB my adjuncts were kept in a drawer, so away from light & mice. I have a bag (~20K) of UNCRUSHED PA that I keep meaning to test, it is >6 years old.
I may do a 1Gal batch to see if I just put it in the recycling with the waste from the MT.
