Hey guys, looking at ordering the Everything's cool NEIPA from the malt millers Robs Recipes and was wondering, can anyone recommend a good dry yeast for it i was going to use NBS Classic English Ale Yeast 12g but was wondering if anyone could recommend one for it,

Cheers Rob

I’ve just picked up the new whitelabs London fog ale yeast (wlp066) which I’m going to try in a NEIPA in the next few weeks.

Anything mid/high Ester and mid/low flocculation will do you right [emoji1303]

Sounds right to me.
There's a good podcast on beersmith all about NEIPA's.
Worth listening to

I subscribed to the podcast using the PlayerFm podcast app.
You can get the app from the Playstore for free.
There's other great beer podcasts available on PlayerFm.

Skip the Lalbrew New England from geterbrewed, its a split up 500g pack and not heard good report back, wait until the official release for that.
Ive brewed a LOT of new England, Rob from Malt Miller even gives one of mine a shout on his FB
3 Yeasts I use are

Vermont https://www.theyeastbay.com/brewers-yeast-products/vermont-ale
Absolutely amazing and gets even better once washed and reused

London Ale III http://www.wyeastlab.com/yeast-strain/london-ale-iii
Most breweries in the UK use this and its my goto NEIPA yeast

Juicy Imperial https://www.themaltmiller.co.uk/product/imperial-yeast-a38-juice/

Cheers guys, will definantly look into these.

I’ve been reading a 2016 copy of byo that has a feature on neipas. It’s hard to work out what the defining characteristics are in the recipe apart from yeast, even then plenty of regular American IPAs use English yeast and oats now, so I am trying to work out where the dividing line is.

I want to make a really juicy brew but not sure it needs to be Neipa or a regular one???

they are all great choices but the op asked for a dry yeast option.
I personally wouldn't go for 04, too tart and doughy.
for what it's worth I'd guess sadfields recc is as good as you would get on the dry front.
some folks are adding a pinch of Belgian in trying to emulate some New England breweries, which kind of makes sense to me.

Vermont, wyeast 1318 and s-04 I've all used and all came out fantastic. If I could chose one it would be Vermont.
