I want to make some beer tomorow as I have an empty keg, which is just a waste : :nono:

So, I have about 300g light crystal, 250g chocolate malt, 1.6kg liquid extract and 1kg spraymalt.

I Also have loadsahops including Aurora (opened so I want to use some of these), chinook, bramling cross, goldings, progress, and bobeks.

This will probably be my last extract before I succumb to the dark side.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Nothing I'm afraid!

I had a taster of one laid down a month ago. While still green, it should have been very bitter as it had 60g Chinook as bittering hops in 20 liters. While it certainly tastes interesting in a fruity kind of way, its absolutely not bitter in any way at all.

Obviously my hop utilisation is abominable. Trying to brew with a few pots and pans is not going to work. Its just chucking expensive hops on the compost heap.

Come October, I'll get myself the H&G AG brewery and use up my last extract as a practise run to familiarise myself with the boiler and wort chiller
